Production planning
The production planning offered by INTERAL regroups calculating your material needs as well as capacity management. The software has diversified planning tools which offer the level of capability and support you need to face the dynamic and ever-changing needs of your customers.
Material Requirements Planning
Depending on your product list and the nature of your production process, you can choose from two planning modes. INTERAL offers a simplified module for inventory analysis and a complete solution for MRP planning.

Stock Analysis
Less loaded in functions than the MRP planner, the stock analysis offers a work environment allowing you to efficiently manage the business planning with little options or sub-components.
Dynamic and simple, this interface will put into perspective the level of demand versus the inventory available and the ongoing production. The lowest code notions and minimum/maximum are already built-in to reduce your work load.
The screen also offers tools that make it easier to create and modify production orders, supplier’s orders and ongoing customer orders.
Once the quantity to produce and the opening mode has been established, a dynamic interface will allow you to closely manage the creation of production order as well as their revision.
MRP Planner
More complete in terms of functions and capacity analysis, this production planning tool will allow you to face customer orders more efficiently.
You can easily enter your sales forecasting in the budgeting interface which serves as a global production plan. The forecasting must be saved by accounting periods, then distributed by planning periods (half-day, day or week).
According to your forecasting, customer orders, purchase orders and production orders, the system will be able to recommend different ways to efficiently cover the level of raw materials.
Each recommendation has color identification and a degree of emergency which allows you to respond quickly to critical situations.
Selecting a recommendation takes you directly to the planning file of the item recommended.
The user-friendly interface will give access to a lot of information, offering a direct link to the concerned product file as well as the concerned production orders, customer orders and supplier orders.
Diversified tools are available to the user, such as our dynamic anchor tree view pegging and our recommendation answer tool, as well as our rough cut capacity planning algorithm.
Many user-friendly advanced options are also available, for example:
- Multi-level bill of material planning
- Management of abnormal demands
- Use of a time fence combined with confirmed releases to stabilize the system
- Calculation of available-to-promise quantities
- Phantom bill of materials
- Report or withdraw unused forecasts
- Forward consumption
- Rough cut capacity planning
- Ect.
Capacity Requirements Planning
Regardless of the material needs planning tools used, our dynamic scheduling board was especially made for integrating customized scheduling algorithms which will satisfy your specific needs.
Besides allowing you to quickly generate different scenarios, the application will also let you manually edit a basic solution to bring a human decision which is essential to any scheduling solution.
Cover Your Orders
Many tools, such as our Order Filling verification report, allow you to detect which production orders will have to be closely monitored in order to honor the delivery promise made for a specific order.
Thanks to the product/part manager, it is also easy to locate production for a product or item, as well as a shipped, billed or received quantity for a customer order.
